Comments: "Bitch Better Have My Slurpee" has its origins in a backing track I made, which ended up on "Kid Testes" from Baby Talk. I liked the instrumental a lot. It's weird. It's Hip-Hop, but it's also very Eastern. It's got the Egyptian Pipe mixed with the Metal Slide Flute & just a sack full of bass. I played if for ThugRadioSmurf & she said it definitely sounds like something Raul, who insisted on being credited as "Sexy Raul," should use. So Raul & I sat down, with some Slurpees, to compose a classic.

Raul is a very hard person for whom to write. He is also a very hard person with whom to write. He's a walking, talking non-sequitur. But he does say some crazy shit which easily translates to comedy. The title is inspired by something Raul said while awaiting the arrival of the woman who was to interview him for what we have released as The Definitive Raul Interview via YouTube & DailyMotion. She offered him a Slurpee for his time. While we were waiting for her to show up Raul, in typical Raul fashion, says, "Bitch better have my Slurpee." From there I decided to go with a pimpin' vibe with a take on the cliché, "Bitch better have my money." Then everything just took shape around that.

We had to have Phil come in to do the hook as a break from Raul's intensity. While I was working on it, like with all songs, I just got obsessed with working on it and it was always in my head. While it's kicking around in my head I come up with all kinds of different shit, which is why it grew to an 11-track single. Each track has some different shit that makes it special. It always makes me wish I had better equipment so I could could achieve a better sound quality. The Smurfy Flavored mix was inspired by a single we have coming out in the near distant future (definitely before August 3) called Smurf. Alright, it's a cheap attempt to tie them together. It's a bondage thing.

ThugRadioSmurf created the cover out of recycled Slurpee cups & duct tape & a picture of titties. - D (12:36 AM 2/13/2011)
