~May 5, 2012: Read This, Ya Dingus!~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is something seriously spectacular. What else can I say? It's the first volume of greatest hits by the greatest rapper to ever live in this universe or any other. Bring it intergalactic rhyme-spitters. You can try & try, but will fail every time. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is 2Pac with Greatest Hits.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is a movie about a sentient robot that I remember absolutely loving as a kid. We watched it in class in fifth grade and the Mormon kid had to go to the library when we watched it, because it's rated PG. Apparently, his magic underwear couldn't protect him from "brief violence and some language." Short Circuit. Number 5 alive!
~April 28, 2012: I'm Your Density~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is a muthafuckin' classic. It's a soulful Hip-Hop masterpiece by one of the great rapper/producer duos, from the good old days when such unions were commonplace. Though the era of rapper/producers duos has concluded, with only the occasional collaboration album being released, we still have the wonderful music to cherish and remind us of what was. The only bad thing I can say about this album is there are some unfortunate instances of censorship. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth with the classic Mecca And The Soul Brother.
Random Shit: "Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads." Have you ever noticed when Doc comes back from the future to get Marty, at the end of the first Back To The Future, he looks like Ronald MacDonald on cocaine? I do CO-CAINE!!!, but not really. Kinda. Sometimes. Mostly just cocoa.
Speaking of Back To The Future & cocoa, this recent talk about the Beatles' kids forming a group and the recent mixtape release by Ice Cube's son, O.M.G., got me thinking about olives and oranges. Then I saw a rumor about the upcoming N.W.A. biopic that said the sons of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre & Eazy-E playing them. So I started thinking what if Lil' Eazy-E, Hood Surgeon, O.M.G. & Doughboy formed a group. How bad-ass would that be? N.W.A. the next generation. They couldn't be as cutting-edge, but it spark epic amounts of publicity and be huge for their careers. Does Ren have any younglings? What about Yella? He's around sluts and whores all day.

Smurf: It's been a while since I released any of my extravagant soliloquies of Comedy. This particular single has gone through three major stages separated by a lot of time. The writing and recording, the production and the artwork. But now all three have finally come together to form some kind of a homeless war vet amputee Voltron of Comedy. While I don't claim any vocals on the track I did the hard work. I wrote, produced and mixed it. Yay for me! Be careful where you listen to it as it is quite possible your ears could orgasm and earjaculate will just spew all over your surroundings. Good luck explaining that. I'm tired of trying to come up with random nonsense to type, so just download it, it's free.
Raul Loves All Of The Womens: & all of the womens love him. Or so Raul declares in his new single Bitch Better Have My Slurpee. This has been sitting for awhile waiting for me to finish mixing it and adding the final touches. It's slated for an as of yet untitled Comedy compilation &/or Raul's own The Slurpee Chronicles, but I used it in the backing of the intro & outro of The Definitive Raul Interview Part 2: The Legend Of The 7-Eleven, so I felt it would be a good idea to have it available so those who may like it can acquire it easily. Now that you have it share it with everyone. The single features Phil M. Cockenbolz & sometimes Old Joe & it's free so slurp it down, bitches.
Artsy Etsy: Our good friend ThugRadioSmurf is at it again. She's started a website, through Etsy, to sell her art worldwide. This new website is in addition to Fine Art America, ImageKind.Com & ArtistWebsites.Com, where she sells her photography. Get it now before everybody wants some and the prices skyrocket and approach the ridiculous.
~April 21, 2012: My Dingo Is So Frisky~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is by a rapper who has a bullet in his head. He got his start as a member of Eminem's Shady Records. Now he's moved on to form his own label called Black Market Entertainment where he's recently released his latest album. He's only released three official albums over his 9-year career, but he's always released solid albums full of real Hip-Hop with no gimmicks, not even his name. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Obie Trice with Second Round's On Me.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is an animated Sci-Fi movie that I just saw for the first time recently. It has an enjoyable story, high quality animation and good voice acting. Tone Loc's in the muthafuckah! How cool is that? Titan A.E..
Random Shit: Why is the W called a double U? It's much more of a double V. Look: UU VV. Which looks more like W? Yeah, the Vs. Cuccumber penis!

~April 14, 2012: Introducing Don Johnson~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is a collection by one of Hip-Hop's premier producers. After starting out as half of one on the all-time great Hip-Hop duos he started spreading his skills around. Now he has his own label and its first release was a compilation featuring veteran lyricists and newcomers, most of whom are or were signed to the label. The result is something beautiful, a compilation that spans coasts and generations. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is DJ Premier, yeah, pun intended, with DJ Premier Presents Year Round Records: Get Used To Us.
Random Shit: Fuck Twitter beef and the stupid-ass people who believe everything they read. Havoc's Twitter feed comes up with some demeaning things about his partner in rhyme Prodigy and the whole Internet's abuzz with rumors of Mobb Deep's demise. Twitter's become the new holy text. If it's on Twitter people automatically accept it as fact. I actually read an online "article" that said something to the effect that the tweets were composed by Havoc, because in one of the tweets the tweeter said "no hack." Fuckin' brilliant.

~March 31, 2012: Korean Jesus~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is our 100th ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week and it's by the Original Hip-Hop Thugsta. This week marks the 17th year since he's been gone. Hopefully, some good can still come of his death from AIDS and it will serve as a constant reminder to be careful with your special parts and who you let diddley-doodle 'em. But this is about the celebration of his musical legacy. He didn't really start Gangsta Rap, Schoolly D released "P.S.K. (What Does It Mean?)" in 1985 & Ice-T's "6 'N The Mornin'" was released in 1986, but his group brought it to the mainstream to stay. He was never the greatest rapper or the greatest writer, but he had the vision that open the flood gates to a lot of great music. Our 100th ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Eazy-E with Eternal E.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is a show I just started watching. I was apprehensive at first, but it turned out that I like it. Straight outta the BBC you can try Robin Hood
for free.

~March 24, 2012: I Like Cheese!~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is by a rapper who has the uncanny ability to compose all his rhymes in his head then proceed to record them without ever actually writing them. I thoroughly enjoyed his first album, but after a few albums he completely lost me. It wasn't until his most recent solo album that I could listen to his new material again. Looking back I was probably a little too hasty in swearing him off, but the music's there I can always go back and listen to it. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Jay-Z with Vol. 2...Hard Knock Life.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is a movie I've seen a bunch of times, because my best friend has a weird obsession with Queen Elizabeth & Cate Blanchet. She also thinks Queen Elizabeth's boyfriend is my ancestor. Go enjoy Elizabeth for free.
Random Shit: Excuse me, I've gotta go get the taste of old lady dick out of my mouth.
I was a little skeptical about seeing 21 Jump Street. I was afraid they would tarnish my precious childhood memories with a pile of parody crap. I have the complete series on DVD and cherish it. The thought of those precious memories being tarnished was unbearable. But I had faith in Jonah Hill, so I gave it a try. It's one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. Go see it!

~March 17, 2012: Conspiracy To Commit Spermicide~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is in honor of the 15th anniversary of the passing of the great Notorious B.I.G. We've all been bumpin' a ton of Biggie over the last few days. For this album he's along side his protégés on their debut album. Following the demise of The Notorious B.I.G. the group never reached their full potential and has, so far, only released one subsequent album. This week we'll take a trip back to those happier times when they seemed unstoppable and ready to take over the world. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Junior M.A.F.I.A. with Conspiracy.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is one of the all-time greatest documentaries in the history of documentaries. From the world's most famous creator of epic documentaries, Ken Burns, comes the perfect documentary for the season upon which we are embarking, Baseball. Inhale the beautiful brilliance. Mmmmmmm...Baseball.
Random Shit: I haven't seen a movie in the theater since Moneyball. Ticket prices are pushing $10. If I go with someone it's $20. I can buy a brand-new DVD for less than that or a brand-new Blu-Ray for just over that. Still, I think I'll have to end my sabbatical soon. 21 Jump Street is in theaters now. American Reunion is coming out April 6th and The Avengers is coming out May 4th and is written and directed by Joss Whedon. Theater, here I come.

~March 10, 2012: Peace, Love, Soul~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is by one of the all-time great Gangsta Rap artists. I remember the first time I heard him. I was at school and my friend had on his headphones and I asked him to what he was listening and he handed me his headphones. A listen to a very enjoyable 30 seconds. I inquired more information, which upon receiving I went home and ordered every available album and I've buy buying his albums ever since. He's remained consistent over the course of his long career until he was shot a few years ago. We were promised a new album a few years ago, I even did an add for the album at the request of his personal assistant, but it has yet to materialize. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Spice 1 with Spiceberg Slim.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is one of those shows that was great and then just suddenly gone. ~March 3, 2012: Hey, Hey I'm A Monkey! Hoo! Hoo!~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is a Hip-Hop vet who has recently stepped out to some more experimental shit, but brings it back to the real raw Hip-Hop. On this album he takes a break from his alternate activities, such as acting and writing, to bring some much needed Drake-bashing to Hip-Hop. Throughout the whole album he sounds like a man possessed with the holy spirit of Hip-Hop. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Common with his latest album The Dreamer/The Believer.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week has been recently added to the free streamables. And wholly Jeebusaruni, are you lucky! Random Shit: Am I really supposed to care about, and be tempted to watch, a movie that features "active-duty" marines (or whatever the fuck it is)? If I'm going to pay $20 to go see a movie I want to watch actors act. I sure as fuck wouldn't want actors defending our country. Speaking of which, who the hell is defending our country, during a time of war, if the marines are playing army men?

~February 24, 2012: I Wanna Dance With Somebody~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is from one of the West Coast's more underrated gangsta storytellers. He's spent time with multiple groups, most famously Westside Connection, and has compiled an impressive solo catalog. He's very proud to be from the West Coast, which is accentuated by the way he braids his beard, and not just because he has the same initials. His songs generally rotate between the gangsta braggadocio, West Coast love and the aforementioned gangsta stories. The album we're honoring here ends on a chilling tale of the consequences of gangsta life. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is WC'sGhetto Heisman.
Album Of The Week: Last week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week was from Hip-Hop's unofficial official megalomaniac. For me, his ego is a huge turn-off. His big head doesn't usually get in the way of his ability to make quality music. We learned on South Park that he's a big fan of fish sticks. He proves South Park to be right on this album by showing that he can't take a joke. Still he continues to push the boundaries of Hip-Hop and on this album it makes for an enjoyable listen. Last week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week was Kanye West with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. I really dig the song "Monster." It reminds me of mine Monshtah.
Whitney Houston: I was never a big fan of Whitney Houston, but it's always a tragedy when someone dies at such an early age. 48 may not seem like an early age to everyone, but that's just way too young to die, especially for a mother with so much talent. While I wasn't a big fan, I always enjoyed quite a few songs and I was rooting for her to recover from her illicit habits and recapture the career she forsook in favor of drugs. I know this is a little late, but she died right after I posted that week's news and I was out of town, too busy to do an update, last week, but I still wanted to pay my respects.
Random Shit: Mine Monshtah (as a wee little baby.):

It's slated for an as of yet untitled Comedy compilation &/or Raul's own The Slurpee Chronicles, but I used it in the backing of the intro & outro of The Definitive Raul Interview Part 2: The Legend Of The 7-Eleven, so I felt it would be a good idea to have it available so those who may like it can acquire it easily. Now that you have it share it with everyone. The single features Phil M. Cockenbolz & sometimes Old Joe & it's free so slurp it down, bitches.

This new website is in addition to Fine Art America, ImageKind.Com & ArtistWebsites.Com, where she sells her photography. Get it now before everybody wants some and the prices skyrocket and approach the ridiculous.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is one of the craziest sit-coms ever. Off the top of my head I can't think of another sit-com that starred an extra-terrestrial...or an alien life form. Straight outta Melmac comes its last survivor, ALF.
Random Shit: I refused to see and am deeply offended by the movie "Big Miracle." The one about the three trapped whales. It's not that I don't like whales or a story about a community rallying around a good cause. I just can't get passed the fact that the stupid kid named the whales Fred, Wilma & Bam-Bam. The names are obviously taken from The Flinstones, which doesn't bother me. What bothers me and makes the film completely unenjoyable for me is the fact that Fred & Wilma are The Flinstones, the title family, but their child's name is Pebbles. Bam-Bam is their neighbors', and good friends', the Rubbles' child. Assuming the whales are a family of a father, mother and son, The Flinstones would be an inappropriate namesake choice as The Flinstones' have a daughter. They could have used the Rubbles' as their source of inspiration to name the whales, Barney, Betty & Bam-Bam. But to use Fred, Wilma and their neighbors' kid is weird, unaligned, off-putting and just fuckin' bizarre. It's illogical, irrational and inappropriate. I don't like it one bit. It's disturbing.

Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is the all-time great comedy movies. I can't get enough of this movie, which makes it a good think it's available for free unlimited streaming. Or at least it would be if I didn't have the DVD. From the creator of such family favorites as Beavis & Butthead & King Of The Hill comes the great Office Space.
I love Star Wars, but do we really need the constant tinkering with the classic trilogy for re-release after re-release and new alterations for the entire epic for Blu-Ray release and a theatrical re-release in 3D? 3D is fuckin' lame. We have to pay an extra two dollars to get stupid-ass plastic glasses so we can pretend the movie is closer than it actually is. How about instead of tinkering with and re-releasing the same movies over and over they actually make some new movies? They've taken us back with three prequel movies. Now it's time to take us beyond Luke, Leia & Han. They could make us a new trilogy with a new threat and new heroes with the same old Force. They give us new stories all the time with new books and new video games.

~January 28, 2012: One Egg Left~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is a West Coast Gangsta Rap fan's wet dream come true. No, unfortunately, it's not an N.W.A. reunion, but it was still an exciting release. A group that usually features C-Bo & Yukmouth added Oakland legend Spice 1 for their second release. I've been listening to and enjoying all three for a very long time and this album, uniting the three Northern Cali powerhouses, does not disappoint. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Thug Lordz with Trilogy.
Random Shit: Has anyone else noticed that Newt Gingrich looks like a giant old man-baby? He's the original Benjamin Button. Is he related to Patton Oswald?
"Ghost Rider 2" is coming! Fuck! I watched 20 minutes of the first one and felt as if that increment of my life had been stolen from me. I would actually rather sit and stare at the wall than watch that 20 minutes again or any more of it. How does a movie that horrible get a sequel? How are there three "Paranormal Activity" movies? I'll tell you how. These atrocities occur because we allow them. We have allowed ourselves to slip into a state of such mental apathy and atrophy that we can actually sit through them and some of us can actually, amazingly, consider them entertainment. This is why we are so easily governed. This is why religion is still allowed to exist. This is why in a time of financial crisis, throughout the world, we allow our government to give banks billion dollar bailouts. Durp!

Album Of The Week: Last week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week was by a West Coast legend. He's been making music since the late '80s and he's been doing it professionally since the early '90s. He's one of the funkiest muthafuckaz to ever make a beat. Although his last two albums have had a decisively different sound than the one to which we've become accustomed since the early '90s he's still making it funky enough. His latest album has a much more personal feel and he touches on a very venomous vibe at times over harder beats, as opposed to his usual bouncy beats, with an old school homage feel. He still brings along some old friends and hooks up for some unprecedented collaborations, most notably a long overdue collaboration with fellow West Coast vet Ice Cube. Last week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is DJ Quik with his latest album The Book Of David.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is one of the great slap-stick comedies of all-time. ~December 28, 2011: You Don't Love Me, You Just Love My Doggystyle~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is something I got for Christmas...long, long ago. I was only a wee boy and I awoke one foggy Christmas day to find it in my crib. I had an enormous impact on my life and forever changed the way I think of bitches...I mean hoes...no that's not it either...women. That's it. It's a certified classic and still one of the greatest Gangsta Rap albums to ever grace Gangsta Rapdom and launched its creator to status of super-stardom where he remains still. It even features a mini-comic book. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is the artist formerly known as Snoop Doggy Dogg with his debut album Doggystyle.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is a show that was recommended to me by a guy with whom I used to work. He told me it changed his life and it was better than Star Trek. Since I was raised on Science Fiction, specifically Star Trek, I had to give it a try. While it didn't change my life dramatically, my life has been changed forever in that I had now seen the series and it piqued my interest in when Castle came out. While it's very entertaining, and may have evolved into something great, it far from eclipses Star Trek. This week I present to you, completely free of charge, for your streaming pleasure, from the brilliant imagination of Joss Whedon, another excellent show with loads (ha ha I said loads) of potential prematurely (ha ha ha I said loads & prematurely) axed by Fox, Firefly.
Random Shit: Happy New Years!!! Yay! It's New Years! Yay! A new year is here! Yay! I fuckin' hate New Years. There are many reasons, all of which I will lay out for you below.
First of all why is it pluralized? It's only one new year. It's probably a good thing it's not plural. We would all be multiple years older than we are now. Every year our ages would jump in groups. Fuck that. I'd much rather live one year at a time than take on a multiple at once.
Second, people act like a new year is a new start. Like every year everybody called back to the start line and we're all equal and anyone can achieve anything. Bullshit. You're still broke, you still have herpes and you still have four dirty stinky little noisy disrespectful kids.
Third, the opening of a new year is not nearly as exciting as we annually make it out to be. Sure it's an extra day off. A new Millennium is pretty cool. A new century's not a bad. A new decade's interesting. But a new year happens every year, like a new month happens ever month, a new week happens every week and a new day happens every day. Each new should be embraced, but each old should not be discarded with such joy.
Fourth, and foremost, this is probably just my O.C.D. speaking, but why the hell don't the commencements of the new year and the fresh Winter season coincide. Winter starts a week and half prior to the new year. It usually doesn't even align itself with a new week. How do you start a new year in the middle of a week? Oh look it's Wednesday, but it's a fresh new year. Fuck that and fuck you for accepting such a chaotic helter skelter contortion of time. Would it really have been such a hardship when concocting the calendar to start the year with the season? It's like listening to an album that started on the previous album, which, in turn, started on the previous album.
I would wipe my ass with the calendar if it wouldn't tear my asshole to shreds.

~December 21, 2011: Have A Super Solstice/Merry Fuckin' Xmas/Happy Humpin' Hanukkah/Have A Killer Kwanzaa~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week should probably be a jolly festive Christmas collection. Fuck that, I'm not in the mood. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is by a Bay Area duo who launched their career with a massive hit. While their second album didn't feature the massive hits I feel that it was a much more solid effort. Though this duo has long since become two solo acts with only three albums they will forever live on in the annuls of, not only Bay Area Hip-Hop, but all of Hip-Hop. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Luniz'Lunitik Muzik.
Christopher Hitchens: Last week's loss Christopher Hitchens leaves the world a much less rational, logical and intelligent place. The only solace we have is the hope that the many works he created, the gifts he gave us, will continue to inspire future generations.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is a show I, myself, discovered via Amazon.Com's free streaming videos. I was searching through one day and came upon it. It looked interesting and I'm through season one, which I enjoyed imensely, and I'm looking forward to starting season two sometime when I have time to sit and watch streaming video. Pushing Daisies (HD).
Random Shit: Every year since its inception there has been nut-fuck cult-cook running around throwing fitsies about keeping Chirst in Christmas. Every year I write a brilliantly woven mini-article here about how fucked that thinking is. I refer readers to gaze upon my composition Crucifiction: The War On Christmas (Rant) from my ebook Love, Life, Humor & Revolution: My Book Of Rhymes. I was all prepared to do the same thing, but instead I found an article that saves me tons of time and energy. Read it and try to understand the pre-Jesus myth Pagan origins of Christmas. The Jesus myth is really just a retelling of ancient Pagan gods and saviors. There's also the very similar celebration that is simply the Winter Solstice, which is basically the celebration of the shortest day of the year leading to the days once again growing longer until the Summer Solstice when the cycle leads back to the darkness of the Winter Solstice. It was the dark dreary cold time of year, so ancient people said, "Fuck it, let's party." Come on, you didn't really think Christmas was the Christian celebration of a fictional Jew. Is there a larger group of anti-Semetic people than Christians? Come on, Hitler was Christian. The current Pope was a Nazi. Mel Gibson. The first half of the Bible, The Old Testiment, is the Torah, the Jewish holy book, the second half, The New Testiment, is anti-Semetic propaganda.
If somehow you can manage to turn off all logic in your brain and ignore all scientific facts and believe the Bible to be real, and Jesus was a real boy/human incarnation of a god who had to be tortured to death 30 years after he was born, because that was the only way he could forgive our sins 2,000 years before we were even born and save us from Satan's power (he could save us from Satan, but not Hitler, Bush, Reagan, Justin Bieber...?) you can't deny that the Bible says nothing about Jesus being born in December. It says nothing about him, or any of his 6 brothers and sisters (also born of a virgin mother, but, apparently, not as special.), freezing to death out in the manger. They're not gonna make a fire in there, there's hay and shit. Just look at the naïvity scene (Yeah I said "naïvity scene." That's not a typo.) there's hay in the pseudo-crib.
I'm currenlty reading a brilliant book called The Atheist's Guide to Christmas. It's a collection of short stories and anecdotes from scientists, comedians, authors and Simon Le Bon, the lead singer of Duran Duran. I thought the science section would be boring, but I was pleasantly surprised in how entertaining it is. So if you're looking for some non-Christian do-as-we-say-(but-not-as-we-do)-or-go-to-hell-rhetoric holiday cheer and your logic hasn't been diminished by a lifetime of indoctrination or if you're trying to re-ignite some logic in your brain give it a try. I've always loved Christmas and I stopped believing in any and all gods when Justin Bieber rose to stardom. Not really, I was somewhere between 5 & 8 when I learned Santa Claus couldn't possibly be real and he's way more realistic than Jesus. I've always loved Christmas and I stopped believing in any and all gods when Justin Bieber rose to stardom. Not really, I was somewhere between 5 & 8 when I learned Santa Claus couldn't possibly be real and he's way more realistic than Jesus. ~December 14, 2011: Don We Now Our Gay Apparel~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is by a very brave man. He took as stand against ignorance and injustice and declared loudly and proudly that it's not alright. Proving that ignorance is a formidable foe, he received death threats simply for the title of his latest album. I, at ThugRadio.Net, find the courage used to stand up for his beliefs commendable and so I'm commending him by making his latest album the ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week. It's not just that, though, it's actually a good album as well. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Lil' B'sI'm Gay.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is one of the more ridiculous comedies. It's starring Trey Parker & Matt Stone and based on the amalgamation of two professional sports. Even though I virtually have it memorized it still makes me laugh every time I watch it. So go watch, for free, and enjoy, for free, BASEketball.

If you just want to have a nice relaxing evening at home, or if you ladies wanna curl up by the fire with your aforementioned new toy and let my sexy voices gently caress your eardrums, you can download my reading of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Here's a preview, just in case you're not sure:
~December 7, 2011: Mary Cris Mess~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is by one of the West Coast preeminent lyricists. After two very strong albums legal troubles and label conflicts took a huge toll on his career. After a prison stint and release from his record contract he released a series of street albums and mixtapes, some of which are downloadable for free here, on ThugRadio.Net. He's currently trying to get his career back on track. Meanwhile This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Ras Kass, with his second album, Rasassination.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is one for those who like deep dark trippy-ass classic movies. I haven't seen it for years, so I don't remember many details, but I recall liking it and being disturbed by it. One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.
Christmas: Once again it's Christmas time in the city and the country and small towns and other countries and even on Uranus. If you're like me and you're just not into it this year and you need a little Christmas spirit or three, I've gotcha. Maybe you lost your job and your home and your family. Maybe you got your AIDs test back and it's not what you hoped. Come on, you knew that bitch was scandalous. Maybe your fake Twitter account was exposed as fake. Maybe you let Charlie Brown pick out your Christmas Tree. Maybe you got your nipples pierced and you got an infection. Maybe you learned the hard way that you can get herpes from kissing. Maybe your girlfriend got a new dildo and only needs you to buy her things, again. Maybe you're a Jehovah's Witness. Maybe last year your grandmother got you skinny jeans. Whatever the reason for your bah humbugness this season I've got the remedy. Check out the Christmas/Hanukkah (Chanukah) (Mostly Christmas) section for some new holiday musical treats. As I'm sure you know by now, "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud(ly) for all to hear." Just ask Will Ferrell. If you're not sure about which albums would best suit your needs you can preview many of them via ThugRadio.Net's Christmas Mixtape Collection. Random Shit: My neighbor wears those horrible homo pants a.k.a. skinny jeans. I'm a pacifist, but it kind of makes me wanna go smack the shit out of him for his unrelenting assault on my optical senses. My Sir Charlie Schmeckle is thicker than his legs. It's creepy looking, like maybe he's all skeleton below the waist. I obviously assume the woman who I see with him is a friend or a relative. But then I paused and thought about a very important tool to teach us about those who are different from ourselves that exists in our society, the stereotype. Homosexuals stereotypically have very good fashion sense. No one with any fashion sense or even a mirror would wear skinny jeans. So my conclusion is skinny jeans aren't gay, but they are retarded, offensive and should only be worn in the presence of blind people. I nominate skinny jeans to be the next Occupy target. I don't think they should actually be occupied, but instead thrown on the ground, urinated upon and set on fire. Do it for decency. Do if for Democracy. Do it for freedom. Do it for homosexuals, because they're really the ones getting a bad rep out of this.

~November 30, 2011: Khan!~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is by one of my Bay folks. Straight out of the Fillmore district, not that far from where I was born, he's been bangin' in the underground for damn near 20 years and a name change. Over the years he's built up a steady fan base with his slow rugged flow over hard soulful beats and random references to Gummy Bears. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Andre Nickatina with his latest album Khan! The Me Generation.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is The Complete First Season of The Tudors in HD. Showtime's take on the exploits of King Henry VIII aren't exaclty historically acurate, but all the sex and violence make for a very entertaining and enjoyable journey back to the middle ages. All four seasons are available in HD & regular D.
Random Shit: I experienced my first Black Friday this year. It was an interesting experience. I didn't really want to do it, but Best Buy, a company I usually deplore, had a Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 3TB External Hard Drive for $99. So I waited outside in line in the cold, really cold, like 37 degrees cold, for over an hour and got the last one. The people at the front of the line actually had TVs set up and were playing video games. Prior to that we went to WalMart, a company I always deplore, where people where gathered around cardboard displays of DVDs & video games impatiently waiting for an underpaid non-union employee to unleash the display & allow the chaotic assault to commence. I was actually just trying to get around the chaos, which was difficult. I did find get a season of True Blood, The Big Bang Theory, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Fringe, Burn Notice & Six Feet Under for $10 each. I also got really good deals on the last three volumes I needed of The Sopranos & a season of Criminal Minds & Seinfeld. But the big draw everywhere I went was cheap, both price & quality, widescreen televisions. I have a feeling those same people will be in line for next year's television blowout as their televisions have blown out.

~November 23, 2011: Be Thankful, Bitches~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is by a group that has gone through a lot of changes since its initial conception as Young Thugz by 2Pac. Through the years and incarnations they've continued to carry on the 2Pac legacy. They've recently delivered what they say will be their final album...if the sales don't reflect the hard work they went into creating it. So I must suggest anyone who appreciates real Hip-Hop scoop this one up. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Outlawz latest album Perfect Timing.
Random Shit: Thanksgiving is upon us again. Shit. Forgive me if I don't partake in this ridiculous celebration of an attempted genocide or as I have come to label it the celebration of the molestation of the original people of this nation. Sorry I just don't see taking advantage of a less technologically advanced people by learning how to survive in their land from them then attempting to eradicate them to take said land as a cause for celebration. Oh yeah, religious freedom. Christianity has always been very good at destroying anything in its way. I do remember when I was a kid and we had to share a reason for which to be thankful and I annually submitted my asshole as without it I would be full of shit. By the way, tomato isn't even a vegetable, it's a fruit, so how the fuck does two tablespoons of tomato paste make pizza a vegetable? And you wonder why we're so unhealthy as a country.

I forgot to include the lyrics in the zip, so I posted them on the Thug Radio Message Board. Now you can have your own sing-along. If you're shy you can just have a read-along. If you're deaf you can just enjoy the beautifully written lyrics & giggle inaudibly to yourself.

Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week's Amazon.ComPrime Members' free streaming video of the week is another of television's great triumphs that was cut way too short, Arrested Development. Rumor has it a movie is in the works, but until then all three seasons are available for your streaming pleasure for free.
Facebook: Fuckin' Facebook's fartin' on us again. After more than a year of all the pages on ThugRadio.Net having a dual purpose like button/comment box they suddenly stopped working this week. When I submitted the problem as a bug Facebook's response was that my code should have never worked. It was working fine before and suddenly stopped without my changing anything, so it's obviously Facebook's fault. But that's all they had to say about it. Fuckin' cunt drippings! So now I have to go back page by page and fix each one individually, again. This already happened to all the pages with an additional like button, which was mostly the Artist Pages. This is in addition to reinstating the Amazon.Com links and the addition of iTunes. So if you see a like button on ThugRadio.Net click it. Far too much work has gone into its appearance. This is going to be a very long and tedious project. And I have other shit to do. This website isn't my whole life. I spend far too much time working on it as it is. Anybody wanna help? I didn't think so.
Random Shit: I'm still trippin' off Heavy D. He was only 44. He was just on stage at the B.E.T. awards a few weeks before and then he was dead. No violence. No foul play. Sure he was overweight, but it wasn't a heartattack or something that we usually associate with obesity. It was respiratory distress. He just couldn't breathe. 44 years-old. Fuckin' shit.

~November 9, 2011: Nuttin' But Love~ Nuttin' But Love: Today we lost another one of our Icons. Heavy D showed us the softer side of Hip-Hop and made it cool to be an "overweight lover." He was well respected throughout Hip-Hop without doing anything that was commonly associated with Hip-Hop. He didn't do any hardcore gangsta bullshit or get excessively braggadocios. He was unapologetically the overweight lover and that was it. But that wasn't it. He wasn't just a respected Hip-Hop artist he was also an accomplished actor, he put out a Reggae album (Vibes) and, by all accounts, was just a cool dude. He was only 44 and still full of life. I was just reading his tweets as they passed through my feed last night, as I do most days. This is another great loss.
Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is by the self-proclaimed Midwest's "Mental Giant." He's a very successful independent artist whose music I've been digging for a long time before the mainstream had any idea who he was. He's been one of my favorite rappers since the mid '90s and is just now starting to get his due. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is the latest album by Tech N9ne, All 6s And 7s.
Amazon.Com Freebie of The Week I'm starting a new feature for the weekly news section highlighting some of the videos Amazon.Com has available for free viewing for its Prime Members. This week's is one of the greatest shows to ever grace television screens, Star Trek! All complete series are available for free streaming viewing, but you really need to start with season one of the original series and work your way through from there.
Random Shit: With everybody so down on President Obama over the state of the county it seems we forget that it's actually the Republicans' fault. The financial crisis was inherited by Obama and was caused by Bush using Reaganomics, which basically is pull the money up to the top, the 1%, and the economy will improve. Conservatives support this theory calling the richest of the rich the "job creators." Apparently the "job creators" need the poor people's money so they can pay the poor to work for them, which basically means it doesn't cost them anything to employ us.
Some jackasses, too many apparently, still vote Republican resulting in a Republican controlled House Of Representatives, which makes it impossible for Obama to accomplish anything to improve the economy or any-fuckin'-thing else in this country. A fact they make no attempt to hide. Last week, with all the problems pouring down on us like the economy, global warming, failing education, crime, drugs, inbreeding (which leads to more Republicans i.e. Tea Party)..., our Republican-controlled House Of Representatives decided it was top priority to re-reaffirm that our national motto be "In God We Trust." Unfortunately it makes perfect sense that the people elected to represent us take time out to have a lopsided debate about how much trust they have in mythological deities. That's perfect, not only for Americans, but for the world, because we, as human beings don't want to have to be responsible for the world's problems. As long as we can convince ourselves that magic people in the sky will clean up after us we can drive S.U.V.s and we don't have to recycle. We don't have to take responsibilities for our prejudices. We can feel good about denying people rights, because our interpretation of the desires of our chosen ancient mythological deity tells us it's alright. Once we accept the fact that deities are just myths it becomes, what it always has been all along, our responsibility and human beings can't handle that responsibility. Thank mythological deities for the Occupy Movement and people who actually try to make the world a better place without adding to the chaos and destruction.

~November 2, 2011: It's On Like Honkey Kong!~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is by a Connecticut rapper who is a part of two different super-groups. In an unfortunate era of Crap & Hip-Pop where many of the real hardcore Hip-Hop heads are left mourning for the bygone time of rappers who did it for the love of music and not just radio play and a pay check. On his latest effort he doesn't live up to his name at all, instead he sounds like a rapper possessed and on a mission to single-handedly breathe some much needed life back into Hip-Hop with a very solid release. It also features the greatest interlude of all-time, "Who Got The Juice." This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Apathy with Honkey Kong.

ThugRadio.Net: Now that I'm semi-settled into my new surroundings I have had some time to spend working on ThugRadio.Net. Since the re-activation of my Amazon affiliation I've been spending an unhealthy amount of time re-integrating Amazon links I removed and adding links to items that were added to ThugRadio.Net during the Amazon outage. At the same time I'm still trying to integrate iTunes into ThugRadio.Net and add new items. The moral of the story is while it may not seem like much is going on in the world of ThugRadio.Net there is actually a lot more that meets that eye. Word to Optimus. So take some time to look around. Make yourself comfortable. There are no pushy salesmen to grab you by the nuts and twist them until you buy something you really don't need.
Random Shit:The holidays are officially here. I can tell by how hard my nipples are. Jesus, they could put an eye out. Last week it was in the 80s, right now it's 54 degrees on the Fahrenheit scale of temperature measurement. The time change is impending, which sucks this time of year. In six months it will be a good thing, but now it can only lead to darkness. I got my new Halloween costume the other day. I don't even remember the last time I dressed-up for Halloween. I actually think it was when the pictures were taken that would become the cover for Baby Talk The E.P.(ic). I've never been much of one to dress-up, usually I just do impressions and characters and a good time is had by all, but this year I was informed by the neighborhood kids that they plan to Trick Or Treat at my new residence, so I informed them that I plan to do some bag snatching and they better watch their asses and grip their bags tightly. So, obviously I needed a good costume so as to not be recognized before I can disappear into the night with the little bastards' candy, before returning home to curl up with some hot cocoa and a super sexy someone in one of those sexy demon costumes or something similar and watch The Nightmare Before Christmas. This is Halloween, Halloween, Halloween.

Now that you have it share it with everyone. The single features Phil M. Cockenbolz & sometimes Old Joe & it's free so slurp it down, bitches.
I forgot to include the lyrics in the zip, so I posted them on the Thug Radio Message Board. Now you can have your own sing-along. If you're shy you can just have a read-along. If you're deaf you can just enjoy the beautifully written lyrics & giggle inaudibly to yourself.
Artsy Etsy: Our good friend ThugRadioSmurf is at it again. She's started a website, through Etsy, to sell her art worldwide. This new website is in addition to Fine Art America, ImageKind.Com & ArtistWebsites.Com, where she sells her photography. Her brand new Etsy website already has a perfect 100% positive review feedback rating. You know you need some art around the house, so you can at least look cultured. Get it now before everybody wants some and the prices skyrocket and approach the ridiculous.
~October 19, 2011: The Humans Are Dead!~ Album Of The Week: This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is by the group that brought Hispanic Hip-Hop to the mainstream. My grandmother got me this for Christmas one year and that's when I learned that albums came in edited versions. I still quickly became addicted to the album and had to have the actual album. I'm still deeply in love with the deep dark blunted Funk in which the album is submerged. The album spawned what is still one of the most famous songs in the history of Hip-Hop. This week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Cypress Hill's second album Black Sunday.
Album Of The Week: Last week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week was by New Zealand's 4th most popular Folk parody duo, which is quite an accomplishment. They had their own television show on HBO for a far too brief two seasons. I've been re-watching the series, which has lead to my listening to their CDs, which has lead to the songs being trapped in my head bouncing around like a screen saver, which has lead to them winning the prestigious Album Of The Week award. Last week's ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week was Flight Of The Conchords with Flight Of The Conchords.
