Comments: On his first non-N.W.A. album Ice Cube brings some good songs, but overall I don't really like the beats. Cube becomes an honorary member of Public Enemy & I just don't like this early solo shit. Ice Cube is an excellent lyrisist & vocalist, so it isn't all bad. There are some cases in which it's strengths outweigh it's faults, like on 2, 5, 6, 9 & 15. - D
