Released: September 20, 2005
More: 2Pac
See Also: Tupac - The Rose That Grew From Concrete
Comments: This was kind of disappointing. It's far different from Volume 1, in that this is composed of songs based on Tupac's poetry while Volume 1 was composed of interpretations of Tupac's poetry. This one is better in concept, but it has flaws. Ludacris is one of the last people I need trying to explain something to me, especially something deep. Who the hell is Black Ice and why is he speaking as if he is Tupac? That bother's me. Finally, I don't hear any Shock G. Zero. Even with all my complaints (who can be completely positive living in the world in which we live?) this is a pretty good album and will definitely appeal to more people than Volume 1. The best songs are 2, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12. - D (11:27 PM 2/11/2006)
